Bass Pro Shops Founder Johnny Morris Named Retail Innovator of the Year

John L. Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops, has been named Retail Innovator of the Year by the National Retail Federation. Morris created Bass Pro Shops three decades ago, originally selling his own bait in his father's liquor stores.

The National Retail Federation is the world's largest retail trade association. Other award recipients at the NRF's 97th Annual Convention were Terry Lundgren of Macy's and Lane Crawford.
